Brief: Create a bold and memorable logo to represent a new sports card eBay store, with a focus on baseball, hockey, and football. The logo needed to feel dynamic, trustworthy, and easily recognizable in both digital and print formats.
Process: Designed the logo in Adobe Illustrator with a sports-themed badge style. I used a orange, black, and white color scheme to evoke energy and professionalism. The central visual features three trading cards representing baseball, hockey, and football, capturing the store’s key focus areas. The shield layout reinforces a sense of heritage and trust, while the bold “Sports Cards” typography ensures legibility. The “Markham” ribbon personalizes the brand and grounds it in a specific community. I chose clean, modern lines with slightly retro influences to appeal to collectors across age groups. The design is optimized for use on digital storefronts, social media, and printed materials.
